Woo Hoo Finished :D

All Finished :D

Yay, I've finally finished my Me to You cross stitch. Its been a while since I've posted as I was more concerned about getting it finished then posting on here. Plus baby Theo was born 3 weeks early!! so I had to go an have cuddles for a few days, and it was my yearly trip to Blackpool :D

I think I did quite well getting it done when I've been really busy at work as well, so it's been about 5 weeks since I've posted here is where I was at then, (if you cant remember or are new to my blog).

So I had most of the Tiny Ted stitched just his toy, the border, back stitch and all the many many french knots left to do.

Just over a week after my last post and a couple of days after Theo was born I had done tons of stitching and had managed to finished the design in the middle.

Doing all of the really tiny back stitches in this seemed to take forever and what was worse, I had french knots to do, I have always found french knots difficult to do, I had to have a look online just to remind me how to do them it had been that long.

With Theo arriving early I had less time then I thought to get this stitched i had planned to try and get it done for when I visited, but luck was against me with that. I did take it with me to do in the evenings whilst i was there, so it didn't take me even longer to do.

Because I don't want to bombard you with all my progress pictures (though I'm sure I'll do it on a separate page at some point), I'll just put up one more picture of my finished product that I finished last night.

I think this took me about 2 and half maybe 3 months to complete, (Next time I'll make a note of my start date).  The hardest thing for me in all of it was all the french knots. I had hoped I would have had the hang of them when i finished as there is so many of them with all the buttons. unfortunately i was wrong and i still hate doing them with a passion.

Whats Next...

Well I'm hoping to get stuck back in with my Pokemon project as it keeps staring me  from across the room, it has taken effort not to start it again whilst stitching my Me to You one. I'm also going to be doing a couple of mini kits as well so I don't feel like I'm not completing anything whilst doing the Pokemon one with it being so large.

Feedback

I would really like to know how you think my Blog's doing, I definitely class myself as a newbie and doing this so I would really appreciate any help or advice.

Thank you for reading :D
